2 Weeks of Study, Practice, and Application of the Eight Limbs of Yoga
Introduce your kids to the wonder of yoga. Living the Wisdom of Yoga will explore physical, mental, and breathwork practices as well as studies of Eastern philosophy. These studies offer tools that can be used both on and off the mat. The wisdom of yoga has the potential to carry them through their teenage years and beyond.
Monday, July 25 – Friday, July 29th We will spend our first week together emersed in joyous, innovative exploration, study, and practice of the 8 limbs of yoga
Monday, August 1st – Friday, August 5th Our second week will be addressing, questioning, and workshopping, through collaboration and play, the application of these ancient philosophies in our modern lives

About Sophie and Jenny
Sophie has taught yoga for over 20 years; during that time she has offered numbers classes and workshops to teens and tweens through the Philly, Brooklyn, and Acton, MA Public School system. She has also taught within the private school system throughout Philadelphia. Sophie’s strength is teaching stress reduction, general anatomy, breathwork, and nervous system responses and control techniques all through the lens of yoga.
Jenny is a published poet, blogger, and former 9th Grade English teacher at Abington Friends School for 15 years. She excels at inspiring creativity, helping teens ‘knock the norms’, guiding emotional outlets through written and spoken word.
